Marcus Ginyard doesn’t remember the trip to the airport or the plane ride back home from East Rutherford, N.J., last March. “I don’t even remember walking out of the locker room, honestly,’’ Ginyard said recently. But what Ginyard and the rest of his North Carolina teammates have been storing in their memory banks is the defeat that prompted that forgettable flight.
