Meet Harry Gotkin

"Frank (McGuire) really likes the way you play," Harry Gotkin told the fresh-faced Joe Quigg. "He wants you to come to North Carolina. "And I think you should go there, too." Quigg took that advice. He enrolled at UNC in January 1954, and later etched his name into the Carolina history books when he sank a pair of game-clinching free throws in triple overtime of the 1957 national championship game.
