Larry Brown and George Karl named top NBA coaches for January

Larry Brown of the Charlotte Bobcats and George Karl of the Denver Nuggets were selected as the NBA's top coaches for the month of January. Brown, who claimed the Eastern Conference honor, led the Bobcats to a franchise-record 12-4 month. The 12 wins tied for the most victories in the league during January. Karl guided the Nuggets to a Western Conference-best 12-3 mark in January.
