Posted Mar 22, 2010
East Carolina will hire former Auburn coach Jeff Lebo to the same position pending approval by the school's board of trustees, which is expected to happen during a Monday afternoon meeting, multiple sources told ESPN.com's Andy Katz. Lebo, fired earlier this month after his fourth losing season in six years with the Tigers, would replace Matt McCarthy, who is taking an administrative job at East Carolina.
