North Carolina's Ed Davis could be big prize for Pistons
Posted Apr 18, 2010
UNC 6-foot-10 big man Ed Davis has decided to leave school after two seasons for the NBA and said he will hire an agent. The lefty was considered a top-five pick before a broken left wrist robbed him of the last 13 games of his sophomore season. He's slender at 225 pounds, but he is projected to be a top-notch shot blocker and he plays with a strong motor. So if the Pistons pick just outside the top five, he could provide Detroit with the young big man it needs.
