Jason Capel is set to become the men's basketball coach at Appalachian State. Capel, an assistant last season at ASU, has been offered the job and has tentatively accepted it, barring any snags in contract details, according to sources. He could be officially named coach as early as today. The ASU head-coaching job came open on Friday when Buzz Peterson left to become the head coach at UNC Wilmington.
