As hints go, it was a sharp elbow to the ribs of Raptors fans: Faced with the possibility of the impending free-agent exit of Chris Bosh, their 6-foot-10 lefty power forward, the Toronto Raptors used their first-round pick in Thursday night’s NBA draft to select Ed Davis, a, um, 6-foot-10 lefty power forward.
