Brendan Haywood aims for double-double
Posted Jul 9, 2010
Brendan Haywood said his goal next season as the starting center for the Dallas Mavericks is to do something he's never done in his previous nine NBA seasons. "I want to average a double-double," Haywood said Thursday, shortly after agreeing in principle to a six-year, $55 million deal to remain with the Mavs. Haywood, 30, has never averaged double-digit rebounds for a full season.
