Appalachian State coach Jason Capel quite capable in his new job
Posted Nov 10, 2010
Jason Capel is young enough to have played for UNC when the Tar Heels faced Appalachian State 10 years ago in the first game played at the Mountaineers' arena. He grudgingly gave up his playing career less than four years ago when a bad back made the decision for him. After a stint as a television analyst, Capel joined coach Buzz Peterson's Appalachian State staff last season. Now it's his team and his program.
