James Worthy expects to make a difference in Gaston County

James Worthy learned the value of having quality teammates around him during his illustrious basketball career. The Gastonia native has hung up his high-tops and is focused more on humanitarian work these days. But he believes teaming up with Gaston Community Action — a nonprofit well-rooted in the region — will extend his charitable efforts here at home.
