Jackie Manuel earns Player of the Week honors in Japanese League

Swingman Jackie Manuel of the Miyazaki Shining Suns is the Lawson/Ponta Player of the Week, the bj-league announced on Friday. A former University of North Carolina standout, Manuel helped the expansion club earn the first sweep in its history last weekend. (Japan Times)
