Larry Brown expresses interest in UNLV job
Posted Apr 10, 2011
Storied college and NBA coach Larry Brown has expressed interest in the vacant position at UNLV, and has contacted athletic director Jim Livengood, SI.com reported, citing Brown. The 70-year-old Brown was fired by the Charlotte Bobcats in December, but said a month later that he'd like to continue coaching. SI.com reported that the two spoke as recently as Wednesday, though Brown's chances don't appear good.
