It’s only logical to question the mental toughness and resolve of three players who bolted when the adversity piled up. Travis Wear’s comment that the 2009-10 season lacked the energy of prior seasons is more than a little peculiar. During that season, the Tar Heels lost 17 times, accumulating three more defeats than they had in the previous three seasons combined.
