Walston: Catching Up With Ronald Curry
Posted Aug 23, 2011
It's been a long time, Ronald Curry. The former Tar Heel quarterback visited football practice yesterday. Curry was the offensive MVP of the 1998 Las Vegas Bowl and the 2001 Peach Bowl. At one time he held school records for passing yards and total offense, and he remains the career leader with 13 rushing touchdowns by a quarterback. On the basketball court, Curry was the starting point guard on the 2001 team that earned a share of the regular-season ACC title.
