Tar Heels coach appears headed to the sideline

Everett Withers won’t be with the North Carolina contingent today at the meeting with the NCAA committee on infractions. It seems less likely that he’ll be coaching the Tar Heels after this season, either. Withers, the interim coach, was given a reprieve by the governing body, which ordinarily expects the head coach of the alleged offending program to attend the hearing.
