North Carolina, A-: Just when it seemed the Tar Heels were down and out, interim coach Everett Withers and his resilient team picked themselves up off the ground and bounced back from their worst performance of the season with their best, most complete effort. The seeds for UNC’s 49-24 homecoming win against Wake Forest were sown during a players-only team meeting held Monday.
