Mike Copeland hospitalized with knee injury
Posted Dec 11, 2011
The Guildford Heat's search for their first win of the season goes on, but was overshadowed on Sunday night by a horrific injury to Mike Copeland which left the Heat forward in hospital. With just over a minute to go in the first quarter, Mike, who had not long since come on, drove hard to the basket. Rocks' centre, Deaundre Cranston, stepped in, but too late, and Mike tumbled to the floor, in obvious pain, clutching at his knee.
