NBA drafts 4 players with ties to North Carolina

Brandan Wright was the first player with North Carolina ties taken in the NBA draft Thursday night, with the Charlotte Bobcats taking the Tar Heels forward with the eighth pick before trading his rights to the Golden State Warriors. Three players went in the second round - Duke forward Josh McRoberts was taken by Portland, North Carolina swingman Reyshawn Terry went to Orlando and Chicago took Pleasant Grove native JamesOn Curry, a guard from Oklahoma State.
