ACC Tournament Bye in Reach


On Jan. 17, North Carolina occupied the cellar spot in the ACC standings. Four weeks later, the Tar Heels are positioned for a top-4 seed and a pair of byes in the ACC Tournament following their 75-71 victory over Pittsburgh on Saturday. UNC (17-7, 7-4 ACC) trailed Pittsburgh (20-6, 8-5 ACC) by three games in the loss column after its 0-3 start in league play. (Inside Carolina)
