Sports legend dies in N.C.
Posted May 16, 2007
Jim Hudock, who was arguably Tunkhannock High School's greatest athlete, died last week at his home in Kinston, N.C., after a battle with cancer. Jim, after a stellar basketball career at the University of North Carolina, would be drafted by the NBA Philadelphia Warriors in 1962, but opted to pursue a dental career instead. A few years ago he was enshrined in the Northeastern Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame, joining his biggest hero, his brother 'Oz,'.
