Brandan Wright’s decision to become a millionaire rather than a sophomore will change North Carolina’s basketball status, but not dramatically. With Wright, the Tar Heels would have opened next season as the overwhelming NCAA favorites. Without him, they still might rank No. 1 in the early polls and spend the entire winter among the power elite.
