Ravens rookie James Hurst passes first test vs. Panthers
Posted Sep 29, 2014
Rookie left tackle James Hurst passed his first test with flying colors on Sunday. Thrust into the lineup because of a knee injury to Eugene Monroe, Hurst protected quarterback Joe Flacco's blind side all day as the Ravens offensive line extended its streak to three straight games without allowing a sack in a 38-10 rout of Carolina. Hurst became the first undrafted rookie to start at left tackle for the Ravens.
