Reunion: Heels will honor, '57, '82 teams

Lennie Rosenbluth suspected midway through the 1957 college basketball season that North Carolina was leading a charmed life and was headed to a remarkable season. He was right on both counts.The season is still known as McGuire's Miracle in UNC basketball lore. The team will be honored in Chapel Hill today on its 50th anniversary and will share the spotlight with the '82 team that will celebrate the 25th anniversary of its title, the first for Coach Dean Smith.
