Rashad McCants returns to Bele Chere

Former Erwin High and UNC basketball standout Rashad McCants is making a return to Bele Chere as he appears in the second annual “Shoot for a Cure” tournament. McCants, now a member of the NBA’s Minnesota Timberwolves, will emcee the event, wherein participants pay $2 for a half-court shot and a chance to win $10,000. There is a five-shot maximum.
