Credit where overdue

The 2006-07 school year will mark the 50th anniversary of the University of North Carolina's 1957 national championship in men's basketball. Unfortunately, Bobby Cunningham will not be here to celebrate with his former teammates. A starter on from that famous bunch of Tar Heels, Cunningham died recently. Cunningham loved life and his school. He had a wonderful smile and a great sense of humor. He was a fun man to be around. The terrible shame is Cunningham died before seeing his old coach, Frank McGuire, receive the recognition from UNC that he deserves.
