Mavs' Stackhouse embracing his role of coming off bench


stood in a corner of the Dallas Mavericks' locker room last night before Game 3 of the NBA Finals, and told a story that has been told many times. It's his story now, but it has been the story of countless other NBA players over the years. After putting up prolific numbers with three teams earlier in his career, attaining All-Star status twice and finishing second in the NBA in scoring while with Detroit in 2001, Stackhouse moved into a new role when he came to the Mavericks two seasons ago.
