Noel getting in shape for chance at NBA

David Noel participated in the Portsmouth Invitational last week in Virginia, where he tried to impress NBA and overseas scouts in the 64-player, eight-team tournament for seniors. Noel hopes an invitation is forthcoming to the NBA predraft camp June 6-9 in Orlando, Fla. If not, at least opportunities to work out for teams in the league. (Greensboro News & Record)
